What helped you the most?
We collected some tips from others of what helped them during withdrawal and recovery. These are just some small tips, but you'd be surprised at how even the simplest thing can help during this time. I rubbed my hands on carpet back and forth 3. Quit reading/watching all negative TV/books 4. Having your feet rubbed 5. I listen to a lot of music 6. Ate better 7. Warm milk 8. Alfalfa tablets 9. Chamomile tea 10. Bubble baths/music 11. Epson salts bath 12. Yoga/stretching 13. Eating bananas 14. Fresh air 15. Walks 16. Just sitting outside helped me 17. When I got bad and up tight I would get a cold towel and hang it around my neck 18. Cold water on wrist 19. Snapping a rubber band on wrist 20. Splash cool water on face 21. Calcium magnesium 22. Eat 4 small meals a day 23. Rubbing something soft (like a kitty) 24. Chatting with others 25. Focus on a Scripture 26. Good support 27. Understanding friends /relatives//THIS AWESOME CHAT ROOM 28. The food channel 29. Small squishy ball (some kind of rubbery ball) 30. Slinky |
