Dear xxxxxxxxx:

It is my opinion that antibiotics have the propensity to cause additional

symptoms while in bzd withdrawal; however if one has an infection, they are

unavoidable. I think that if you need an antibiotic, then it is always safer

to go with one of the older ones. Antibiotics do kill off the good bacteria

so a high quality probiotic is always in order. I caution everyone not to

use quinolone antibiotics....they are extremely powerful and work on the

central nervous system. These include cipro, avelox, etc.

I personally prefer a natural antibiotic. A combination of collidal silver,

kyloric garlic, buffered vitamin C with a goldenseal/echinacea tincture has

worked well for me so far.

Yvonne
