He made the K in liquid form and I could make very small cuts more often toward the end. It worked fine--I had my choice of flavors :) For those of you thinking of doing the compounding thing, I highly recommend it--it made all of the difference in the world to me. I got these phone numbers from my compounding pharmacist--call and they will give you the names of compounders in your area in the US, Canada, as well as internationally. Good luck. International Assoc. of Compounding Pharmacists 800-927-4227 Professional Compounding Centers of America 800-331-2498 PS: That "compounding pharmacist" who told you it was illegal is obviously NOT a compounding pharmacist or he would have never told you that. There are many people who because of certain medical conditions, have to have their med compounded--there is nothing illegal about this practice. Call somewhere else! I live in a city where there is a medical school, I would think that most cities with medical schools and teaching hospitals would have to have access to compounding pharmacies. Again---good luck!
