Hello and welcome aboard.

Beatrice Faust, the author of "Benzo Junkie" is 100% recovered and so am I. I wrote to her earlier this year and asked for a copy of her book. She sent me one a short time later and I sent it to Carol Patterson in Florida yesterday. I don't have Beatrices email on this new computer but Geraldine has it and I think if you write to Beatrice she'll send you and anyone else who asks, a copy.

In May or June of this year, I was still thinking that I was never going to"really" get well and I wrote to Beatrice for reassurance. She gave it and my healing continued via holistic changes and continued until 2 months ago when nearly all symptoms were gone ACCEPT the head, jaw and sinus stuff.

Once I dealt with the dental problems I shared earlier ALL my symptoms ended and I remain symptom free. I feel fine mentally and physically after a 20 year long rollercaoster rideon and off benzo's. What a relief it is to finally be done with Benzo madness.

What I seem to be dealing with now is Post Traumatic stress of sorts from all the emotional upheaval that has occurred because of the deadening effect benzo's have had on me. Many things happened over those years that I apparently didn't "feel" to the full extent. Lately there had been an avalanche of emotions and it feels like I am now healing from 20 years of emotional pain. I guess this is phase three and I hope the final one.

I haven written out most of my story Connie, so many times that I am sure the regulars here are tired of hearing it. If you have time on your hands, read the archived discussions for more info. If there is anything specifically you'd like to ask, feel free. I am writing a book and also a chapter for Geraldines future best seller but I TRYYYYYY to keep up with emails, typing lessons would sure help! I'll check my new folder and see what I have saved in there and if I find anything that might help you I'll send it your way.
