Dear Group and esp. Jan...

Have not posted in many months but have kept up with reading the

postings. Sorry I have not kept in touch, Jan. I think of you

(and all of the Old Gang of us, often). If any of us are reading

this, we know who we are... :-)

This group was such a help to me over this past yr. I lived on the

computer at this site from December until May (the most hellish

mos. of my tapering). No one else could understand what trying

to get off of BZs than someone else who is trying to do the same.

I'm so grateful to have found friends and comrades who were

fighting the same war. It can be a very lonely, isolating

benzo war zone.

I finished my taper this past August and have been BZfree

for almost 4 mos now. Still having some protracted stuff going on

but it's getting better. Compared to a yr ago when I didn't think

I'd ever get my mind back and couldn't even leave the house

(in frenzy terrors), I'm grateful for where I'm at.

Keep on keeping on, everybody. Getting off these pills may be

THE hardest (or one of the hardest things we will ever do!)

It was for me.

Don't give up!

Whatever pace you need to take to tackle it, don't give in.

Fight the bitter battle...it can be won.

May 2001 be the Benzo free year for us all.

Blessings,

Lynn/AZ
